JOSH ROSE leads our legal team. He combines the legal skills of a top flight litigator with the empathy and judgment to guide you in evaluating your claims and deciding when litigation is in your best interest. When you need a legal counselor for your disability insurance claims, Josh Rose will help you find the answer. When it is time to fight in Court, Josh Rose plays to win.
After working in a large, corporate firm from 1987-89, Mr. Rose decided to dedicate his career to obtaining justice for victims of corporate greed and mismanagement. His broad experience in complex litigation includes multi-million dollar recoveries against insurers, polluters, and employers. It also includes the personal representation of hundreds of individuals in counseling, claim development, negotiation, and litigation.
Many disability insurers have not been paying the benefits they promised to their policyholders. This is particularly true for high income business owners and executives who purchased the best policies with the best coverage. If you have lost income as a result of injury or illness, you may be entitled to substantially more benefits than your insurer wants you to believe.
We formed Equitas Disability Advocates, LLC to give policyholders the benefit of a firm whose primary focus is on obtaining disability benefits due under high value individual disability income and business overhead expense protection policies. Our members have substantial experience with disability insurance, medical practice, and litigation. If you have private disability insurance and you have lost income as a result of injury or sickness, Josh Rose and the Equitas team can help you get the benefits you paid for.
Rose & Rose, together with Brian Abeles, joined together with a goal of forming a unique boutique law practice in 2008, now known as Equitas Disability Advocates, LLC, the primary focus and objective of this firm is to represent the rights and interests of Individuals, businesses and professionals that are in the position of pursuing disability benefit and insurance coverage claims, addressing what are unquestionably most serious concerns about obtaining the rightful entitlements of claimants from the perspective of providing both claims consulting services and legal representation against the insurers.
A primary objective and concept of this new firm was to bring together over thirty-five years of disability benefits experience and capabilities as well as having access to an exceptional and extraordinary array of intellectual property resources associated with the disability benefits field.
