Audrey Faust graduated from Florida State University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities/Women’s Studies. She received her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University College of Law in 2004, also earning a 2003 Book Award in Corporations Law. She was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in 2004 and The District of Columbia in 2006.
Ms. Faust has developed extensive skills, knowledge, and litigation experience in the handling of Social Security Disability claims, with added background, experience, and capabilities litigating Workers Compensation claims, Civil lawsuits, and Small Claims. Prior to joining Equitas Disability Advocates, LLC, Ms. Faust was a member of the law firm of Lancaster & Eure, PA, in Sarasota, Florida where she litigated hundreds of Social Security claims before Judges from all over the United States. Ms. Faust is the Chair of Equitas Disability Advocates, LLC, Social Security Disability practice.
Ms. Faust is a member of the District of Columbia and Florida Bar Associations. In addition to her professional activities, Attorney Faust is a member of the National Women’s Political Caucus, Young Professionals Group, The Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and political organizations throughout Washington, DC. She has also been published in the National Bar Association and Sarasota Bar Association newsletters and has spoken before the National Alliance of Mental Illnesses on Social Security law.
Dedicating the focus and specialization of her practice to Social Security Disability claims has enabled Ms. Faust to develop an atypical level of expertise aptitude and legal competence. She is a stalwart and devoted advocate in protecting the legal rights of disabled Social Security claimants throughout the United States.
